Works closely with all divisions to plan and optimize all SEO efforts. Manages SEO programs with expert understanding of search strategies and best practices to increase demand generation and brand awareness
Seeks new areas of opportunity and helps the brands in managing website optimization for search engines: site structure and page layout
Monitors organic search rankings to maximize traffics and sales.
Performs in depth keyword research to unearth high commercial intent, high search volume, low competition keywords leveraging SEO optimization platform.
Builds quality link partners.
Administers search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools)
Manages SEO reporting and provides feedback to divisions and management teams.
Keeps abreast of current SEO industry trends and identifies current and future opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Marketing or related field
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization role
Expert in SEO with a solid knowledge of SEM
Proven understanding of HTML and CSS and/or experience with URL rewriting, content management systems, blogging platforms and social media
Proficiency in the use of modern SEO tools and Web Analytics
Proven ability in performing competitive analysis with respect to SEO ranking and site performance
Experience in performing keyword research and tracking results/progress.
Experience with back linking and local search optimization.
Experience in SEO for eCommerce preferred.
Ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
Ability to analyze metric data and convey recommendations appropriately to managers
Bilingualism required (French and English – spoken and written)
