As Staffing Consultant, head office, you will be asked to advise managers in implementing the talent acquisition process. You will establish various strategies to attract the best talent in relation to the targeted area. You will lead projects to improve the candidates and managers 'experience'.
Conducts needs assessments with Hiring Managers;
Analyses, determines and recommends appropriate recruitment sources for each mandate;
Manages advertisements and job postings (internal and external);
Conducts all preliminary interviews (telephone and face-to-face),
Provides a short-list of suitable applicants to the Hiring Manager;
Supports People Manager in their interview process by giving them tools developed/adapted to their needs (i.e. behavioral interview questions, competency definitions etc.) and coaches them in their recruitment decision;
Conducts the necessary reference verification for the position;
Elaborates the salary recommendations, terms & conditions of employment;
Greets new employees and conducts orientation sessions with them to complete all employment documentation and to review Company benefits, policies and practices and answer any questions;
Keeps up to date on the new recruitment methods;
Works in a partnership with the HRBP;
Leads certain strategic management projects intended to review the recruitment processes and tools in order to improve their efficiency;
Participates in Career fairs and any other recruitment activities.
University degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
A minimum of 3 years experience within recruitment;
Solid communication skills in both French & English spoken and written;
Experience in an ‘advisory role’ with managers;
Strong abilities in customer service;
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System as well as strong computer literacy in MS Office.
Fashion retail experience would be an asset;
